About The Position

The Northwest Sales Manager is a pivotal role within ARB's North American business development strategy, focusing on driving sales growth in the Northwest territory, which includes Washington, Oregon, Alaska, and Western Canada. This position is responsible for identifying and securing new sales opportunities while managing established dealer accounts to meet annual sales goals. The role allows for remote work and requires a proactive approach to sales management and relationship building within the 4x4 community.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful outside sales and account management experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in sales or related field preferred.
  • Automotive knowledge/experience highly preferred.
  • Key account management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and value-added benefits.
  • Strong work ethic and team player mentality.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the 4x4 or off-road accessories market.

Responsibilities

  • Defining and executing effective territory sales strategies to achieve short, medium, and long-term sales objectives.
  • Analyzing sales trends and being proactive to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Reporting on new business opportunities and competitive product developments.
  • Developing relationships with new dealers and distributors to enhance sales coverage.
  • Establishing discount levels and sales expectations for new accounts.
  • Training dealers and distributors on ARB products and providing technical assistance as needed.
  • Traveling within the region (up to 40%) and occasional out-of-region travel (up to 10%).
  • Representing ARB at trade shows and supporting dealer and consumer functions.
  • Utilizing interpersonal skills to foster a positive presence within the 4x4 community.
