We have an established team of inspectors and construction managers in Northern Virginia and prime contracts with VDOT and multiple localities in the region. You will be set up for success from day one. As a Service Line Manager, you'll oversee the delivery of MBP’s services in Northern Virginia, managing road and bridge projects from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for business development, proposal creation, contracting, and assisting with recruiting. You’ll collaborate with other leaders in the company to ensure the service line runs efficiently and meets MBP’s high standards. In addition, you’ll manage budgets, schedules, and forecasts while identifying the tools and processes needed to keep operations running smoothly. You'll also support corporate initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the business. In this role, you’ll have the autonomy to lead a team, drive business development, and shape the direction of a growing service line while being supported by an established team. MBP has been a leader in providing CEI services to VDOT and localities in Northern Virginia for over 30 years. You will have an established team to lead and contracts to build upon so that you can hit the ground running towards achieving your goals and MBP’s goals on day one. Requirements

• A B.S. in an industry-related field is required, with preference for an advanced degree.
• Extensive construction management experience, especially managing contracts for construction engineering and inspection on road and bridge projects, with a focus on VDOT and/or localities is required.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and diverse teams, delivering results from start to finish.
• Expertise in project management, including budgeting, leadership, and business development.

Nice To Haves

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Virginia or ability to obtain PE within six months is preferred.
• Experience in construction management and project controls, particularly with VDOT, is a key strength.
• Experience with other heavy civil, rail, or airport clients such as WMATA or MWAA is a plus but is not required.
