About The Position

SWCA is looking for talented individuals who can help us support our clients and internal stakeholders in the field of environmental consulting. As the North Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting proposal development to sell our services to our clients across multiple industries. You will be supporting our Marketing and Pursuits Resources (MPR) Team in our growing North Region. Together, we will collaborate to develop and deliver proposals that showcase the expertise of our team and the unique value we bring to every project. This position is an integral part of our team and will be trained to assist with a wide variety of marketing activities associated with proposal development. This is a full-time, regular (with benefits), hourly, distributed position. This position provides the flexibility of working remotely, in a hybrid capacity, or in-office, if desired. However, it is required that this individual live in the Denver area, and can travel to SWCA’s Broomfield office occasionally. Requirements

  • Entry-level, recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Marketing, or related discipline (degrees in other specialties are acceptable if relevance can be demonstrated).
  • Up to 1 year of prior marketing exposure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks and multi-task in a busy environment
  • Exceptional communication, listening, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service-oriented and able to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Involvement in an association or volunteer organization or internship
  • Experience with formatting in Word
  • Experience managing data, searching and populating databases
  • Experience working in Deltek Vision, SharePoint, or comparable management information system
  • Experience working in professional services, preferably in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction or scientific industries
  • Experience working with Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Provide proposal support assistance to proposal teams (compiling and tailoring staff resumes, firm project descriptions, and other qualification information; etc.)
  • Maintain Deltek Vision database data and other marketing software tools (vendor registrations, content and photo libraries, etc.)
  • Distribute and track internal decisions for bid solicitations daily
  • Assist with opportunity and market research projects
  • Support business development activities (research, manage data, distribute/track action items, etc.)
