North Clinic Pharmacist (PRN)
About The Position
Under the direction of the Director of Retail Pharmacy, the pharmacist is responsible for: providing a productive and viable North Clinic Pharmacy to support the program of clinical care; for providing clinical consultation and expertise in support of client assessment and care processes; for managing the process of preparing, dispensing and monitoring medications as prescribed and ordered by a licensed provider and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards. This is a PRN position, potentially 8 hours per week. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm, Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm.
Requirements
- Graduate of ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a minimum BS Pharmacy degree
- Currently licensed as a Pharmacist with the State of Nebraska
- Proficient computer skills, previous experience with an electronic medical record preferred
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize time well and be a self-starter.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work in harmony with others
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- previous experience with an electronic medical record preferred
