About The Position

Mosaic Inc is seeking dynamic design professionals to join their showroom sales team as Design Consultants. The role focuses on creating and closing sales opportunities with customers, providing exceptional service while recommending and selling a variety of home interior products. The Design Consultant will build lasting relationships with clients and collaborate with trade partners to meet project goals, all while maintaining a sales-focused attitude.

Requirements

• Creative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.
• Familiar with consultative sales techniques, including suggestive selling methods.
• Ability to serve as a product knowledge expert, providing industry solutions and expertise.
• Proven sales record with a closing mentality.
• Strong focus on positive customer service and client experience.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to speak to Mosaic's brand.
• Experience with various computer software programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Minimum of three years of sales experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in merchandising (1 year preferred).
• Experience in sales (1 year preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in selecting various interior products, including flooring materials, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing fixtures, tile, and accessories.
• Communicate with trade partners to ensure project goals and expectations are met.
• Utilize selling techniques to achieve the desired aesthetic that leads to confirmed sales of merchandise.
• Build customer confidence by creating value through the features and benefits of products and materials.
• Develop ongoing relationships with builders and contractors to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Serve as a team player amongst the branch staff to assist with operational duties as needed.
• Communicate with the Design Center team to ensure sales goals are achieved.
