Nordic Trade Marketing Manager to Bandai Namco

About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Trade Marketing Manager within the Video Games Industry. The successful candidate will provide strategic trade marketing leadership in development and execution of channel strategies and initiatives to meet the business goals. You will be working from the office in Stockholm, but with regular travel. The role is with a leading Japanese video game publisher and distributor. This is a full-time role, where the successful applicant will be responsible for creating plans for new titles and promotional operations with our retail partners and distributors. The successful applicant will also be directly involved in the management of 3rd party relations. The position will report into the Sales Director who is based in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute trade marketing operations for pre-launch and launch of new releases
• Plan and execute trade marketing plans for key back catalogue titles within tactical promotional periods
• Analyse promotional activities at retail (stores and e-commerce) and propose promotional plans to develop our catalogue sales (encompassing titles, mechanics and visibility)
• Manage and allocate budgets for each plan
• Create postmortem reports for internal and external stakeholders on executed campaigns
• Liaise with the sales and marketing teams to ensure maximum exposure for the titles within the correct retailers and increase our share of voice
• Adapt strategies in line with market dynamics
• Manage multiple projects with professionalism in a very fast paced environment
• Work with our POS provider to design and roll out impactful Point of Sale Material
• Provide proof of executions to key stakeholders, internally and externally
• Visiting the points of sale regularly to ensure quality on active campaigns and brand visibility
• Own allocated trade marketing budget and report spends to the finance department monthly
• Ensure all purchase orders are raised within a timely fashion and that they match the budgets
• Analyse results and present findings to key stakeholders, both internally and externally
• Present the lineup to retailers (in conjunction, preparation with marketing)

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years' experience in executing multichannel physical retail commercial campaigns across Nordic and dealing with national retailers, preferably within the video games market
• Strong negotiation skills with key stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills and comfortable dealing with numerical data
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Agile mindset and ability to handle change
• Possess ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Be proficient in all Microsoft office programs, especially Powerpoint and Excel
• Some experience of Oracle would be an advantage, but not essential
• Be able to speak/write Swedish and English to a high level
• Able to give and present examples of previous trade marketing executions that you have worked on
