Central Washington University is recruiting nonpermanent Skilled Trades/Maintenance/Custodial/Grounds positions to join our team. Depending on the position, this pool may consist of campus-based or remote locations. The salary, is dependent on experience and the position, plus the awesome CWU benefits. Responsibilities
- Perform Skilled Trades/Maintenance/Custodial/Grounds related duties such as Boiler Operators, Carpenters, Electricians, Floor Layers, Painters, Plumbers/Pipefitters/Steamfitters, Grounds Operations, Gardening maintenance, Litter collection, Raking leaves, Mowing lawns, Pulling weeds, Setting irrigation pipe and sprinklers, Using a variety of manual tools and equipment, Custodial work including Sweeping, Mopping, Dusting, Vacuuming, Making beds, Washing windows, walls, and ceilings, Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, Cleaning kitchens and dining rooms, Setting up meeting rooms, Laundry duties.
Requirements
- Physical ability to do the required work
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Valid Driver's License
- Prior experience, training and/or education
- Some positions may require additional licenses or certifications
