About The Position

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an outstanding cardiologist, ABIM-Board eligible/certified to work full time in our Regional center in Frisco. We will consider both interventional and general cardiology applicants who are superior in all aspects of their specialty. These individuals should also be capable of teaching fellows, Internal Medicine residents, and medical students through clinical rotations, didactic lectures and multidisciplinary conferences.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or foreign equivalent.
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiology fellowship program.
• Board certified/eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in interventional cardiology.
• Fellowship training in specialized areas of cardiology.
• Interest in teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in cardiology at the UT Southwestern Frisco clinic and Texas Health Frisco hospital.
• Teach fellows, Internal Medicine residents, and medical students.
• Participate in clinical rotations, didactic lectures, and multidisciplinary conferences.
• Engage in research and collaboration with basic science and clinical teams.
