About The Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Noninvasive Cardiologist to join a well-established and collegial group of eight noninvasive cardiologists within a tertiary care cardiac center serving the Greater Austin region. The position involves a comprehensive noninvasive cardiology practice including transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), stress testing (exercise and pharmacologic), ambulatory monitoring (Holter and extended monitoring), and nuclear cardiology. The role benefits from robust inpatient support with cardiology fellows and advanced practice providers (APPs) participating in daily rounds. The practice is part of a fully integrated tertiary cardiac program with on-site interventional and structural heart programs, electrophysiology, and advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support. Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Non Invasive Cardiology
  • Level II Echocardiography certification required
  • Texas Medical License by start date

Nice To Haves

  • Level III Echocardiography certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform Transthoracic echocardiography
  • Perform Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
  • Conduct Stress testing (exercise and pharmacologic)
  • Perform Ambulatory monitoring (Holter and extended monitoring)
  • Perform Nuclear cardiology
  • Participate in daily rounds with cardiology fellows and advanced practice providers (APPs)
  • Engage in shared call rotation approximately q8–q10
