About The Position

Performs cardiac ultrasound imaging on patients of all ages as well as venous and arterial imaging. Demonstrates anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgement in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Available for call as requested. Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Requirements

• Registered or registry eligible by ARDMS (RDCS and/or RVT) and/or CCI (RCS and/or RVS).
• If eligible, must apply for certification within 12 months of hire and acquire certification within the specified guidelines.
• The 2nd certification must be obtained within 24 months of hire.
• Experience preferred.
