The Nonferrous Delivery Driver & Warehouse Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of nonferrous materials within the yard and between various facilities. This role requires operating roll-off and tractor-trailer equipment to deliver materials, conducting daily pre-operational checks, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials in compliance with safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous operation of roll off and/or tracker trailer a plus, but not required.
Class A CDL is required.
Ability to safely maneuver equipment throughout the yard, i.e. awareness of customers and employee traffic.
Ability to work 1st shift hours w/OT and work on Saturdays.
Able to work in all weather conditions.
Self-motivated, team player dedicated to the organization.
Ability to communicate effectively, including speaking clearly over a two-way radio.
Good decision making skills in a fast paced, ever changing work environment.

Responsibilities

Move various loads of material to designated areas throughout the yard as instructed by management.
Conduct “milk-runs” throughout various facilities and deliver the nonferrous material to the yard.
Safely operate roll off and tractor trailer equipment to transport material in most effective, timely manner as possible.
Perform daily pre-operational checks on tractor, ability to top off any needed fluids.
Buy, sort, grade nonferrous material.
All other duties as assigned.
