Our Outpatient Services include a Surgery Center, Advanced Wound Care Center, Pain Center, Sleep Disorder Center, Imaging, and Rehab. We are part of HCA Midwest Health, a network of hospitals in Kansas City and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program.
• Maintain a GPA of 2.0 or greater.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current Kansas Student License (or within 60 days of hire) from the KBHA.
• Clinical experience through their Clinical Rotations.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by a physician.
• Administer medical gas and aerosol therapy.
• Obtain and analyze blood specimens.
• Perform patient testing.
• Operate and maintain various types of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment.
• Complete documentation in patient records.
• Clean equipment and maintain safety and infection control practices.
