About The Position

Interested candidates should have experience and expertise in non-invasive pediatric cardiology. Clinical responsibilities will be primarily in the outpatient setting with additional inpatient activities. The physician is expected to deliver the highest quality pediatric cardiology services to patients and their families. Requirements

  • MD/DO
  • Board eligible or certified in Pediatric Cardiology

Nice To Haves

  • Additional experience in fetal cardiology is welcome
  • Willing to consider part time and J1 Visa applicants

Responsibilities

  • Run a comprehensive pediatric cardiology outreach program to southern New Mexico
  • Experience and expertise in reading pediatric echocardiograms and ECG’s
  • Provide the highest quality pediatric cardiology services to patients and their families
  • Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment
  • Provide comprehensive pediatric cardiac evaluation in an outpatient cardiology clinic
  • Interpret pediatric echocardiograms e Consult on ED, NICU, pediatric and PICU patients at local hospitals
  • Interpret pediatric echocardiograms and ECG’s
  • Perform and interpret fetal echo’s (non-essential)
