Stamford Health is looking for a Fulltime STAFF RN for the Non-Invasive Cardiology Team! This position is a Fulltime Monday-Friday, Rotating Weekends and Holidays! Requirements

• Valid license as Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut.
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one-year nursing experience required.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred; will consider candidates with a plan to pursue BSN or BSN in progress.

Responsibilities

• The Non-invasive Cardiology Nurse will assist the Department in providing high quality care to non-invasive, cardiac testing patients.
• Plan and deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and following all established standards of practice within State and Federal guidelines.
• The Non-invasive Cardiology Nurse will be proficient in monitoring and patient assessment and Pre/Intra/Post care particular to the patients in the Non-Invasive Cardiology department and be competent in the management of patients undergoing Cardioversion, Trans Esophageal ECHO, and all types of Stress Testing.
• The Non-Invasive RN will coordinate the schedule with cardiology, anesthesia and the various specialties for both the inpatient and outpatient population.
• In addition he/she will provide support to non-RN personnel.
