About The Position

NorthBay Health seeks a Board-Certified, Licensed Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our highly regarded health system in Northern California. Located between the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa Valley, and Sacramento, NorthBay Health offers the perfect setting for healthy, active living. NorthBay Health Heart and Vascular is the only comprehensive location for advanced cardiovascular services in Solano County. Equipped with the latest technology and evidence-based care, our cardiologists specialize in diagnosing and treating diseases of the heart and blood vessels. Our comprehensive cardiology services and specialty heart care includes the region's first accredited Chest Pain (Heart Attack) Center, the only cardiothoracic surgery program in Solano County and our Heart Failure Clinic. Our expert teams include interventional cardiologists, cardiac electrophysiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, vascular surgeons and highly specialized cardiac nurses and technologists. We perform many cardiac procedures using non-surgical interventional techniques and minimally invasive surgery, which can mean less pain, smaller incisions and a faster, easier recovery for patients. Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease
• Valid medical license to practice in California
• Expertise in non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostics
• Strong communication, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Focus on outpatient and inpatient non-invasive cardiology care
• Manage a consistent load of patients
• Access to advanced diagnostic tools, including echocardiography, nuclear imaging, and stress testing labs
• Collaborate with a team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Perform diagnostic testing: Echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, stress testing (exercise and pharmacologic)
• Interpret advanced imaging studies, including cardiac MRI and CT angiography
• Manage patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure and arrhythmias
• Work closely with interventional and electrophysiology teams for coordinated care
• Manage preoperative and postoperative cardiac care in outpatient clinic
• Conduct inpatient rounds focused on non-invasive patient care and diagnostics
