About The Position

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Non-Invasive Cardiologist for its new multi-specialty practice located in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The physician will join a well-established program at the Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, part of Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care, which is comprised of fellowship-trained experts across all heart and vascular specialties and provides minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures. Description: · Full-Time Opportunity (Job ID: FY26-MIA-HVC-04-02) · This position offers an opportunity to practice in a collaborative community-based environment in Pembroke Pines, Florida, while maintaining access to the tertiary resources of Baptist Health South Florida · Responsibilities include managing outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care, non-invasive cardiac procedures, preventive medicine and pharmacology · Team includes more than 35 Advanced Practice Providers and the support of other non-clinical staff · BHSF is academically affiliated with Florida International University (FIU) and Florida Atlantic University (FAU), and engages in multi-disciplinary research, including 60+ clinical trials offering access to emerging therapies in cardiovascular care · Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care offers care at all hospitals and multiple specialty centers, including the nationally recognized flagship institutes – Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, and Christine E. Requirements

  • MD/DO from an accredited institution
  • active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date)
  • satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine, with a subspecialty certification in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine
  • successful completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiovascular disease fellowship
