About The Position

MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Northeast is seeking full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible General Cardiology physicians to join a collaborative, high-volume cardiology team at their nationally ranked heart and vascular practice in Columbia, SC. Physicians will benefit from advanced imaging and diagnostics, strong subspecialty support, and the opportunity to quickly grow their practice in a physician-friendly environment. The position includes a balanced 1:6 call schedule and access to comprehensive diagnostic treatment resources, including cardiac CT, MRI, 3D echo, PET/SPECT, electrophysiology equipment, and a cath lab. The team is a collegial group of 36+ cardiology providers promoting teamwork, efficiency, and excellent patient care within a respected Heart & Vascular practice with a 40-year history of excellence and an established referral network for quick practice ramp-up. MUSC Health’s Heart & Vascular Center is the only program in South Carolina to offer heart transplantation, robotic valve surgery, and complex aorta surgeries, and has the state’s only cardiovascular genetics program. It is committed to advancing care through innovative procedures and ground-breaking clinical trials. The MUSC Health Columbia practice is ranked by U.S. News & World Report as High Performing in five procedures and conditions related to heart and vascular care. MUSC Health - Columbia Medical Center Northeast is a 75-bed hospital located in the northeast Columbia area, part of the larger MUSC Health system which includes the 332-bed Columbia Medical Center Downtown.

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in General Cardiology
