About The Position

The Inova Schar Heart and Vascular is seeking a board certified/eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their Loudoun and Fairfax team. The Inova Schar Heart and Vascular is seeking a board certified/eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist - Ashburn, VA. Inova Schar Heart and Vascular Western region seeks an experienced, board certified/eligible, non-invasive cardiologist to work clinically full-time at its outpatient office in Ashburn, VA with inpatient rounding at our Inova Loudoun Hospital. This role will also see patients at Inova Fairfax Hospital and the ICPH location (seeing patients, as DOD/ROD, preceptor) This physician will further develop a growing clinical practice that drives volume for Inova’s cardiac diagnostic and imaging center and will take call at those locations. The Physician is responsible for providing quality medical care to Inova Health System patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. This role will also be responsible for conducting comprehensive medical exams, making diagnoses, developing treatment plans, and providing education and guidance to patients on disease prevention and management. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board eligible or board certified in XXX.
  • successful completion of XXX residency program.
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
  • Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors
  • Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
  • Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
