Non-Invasive Cardiologist (Heart Failure / Echocardiography) Department of Medicine – Division of Cardiology Boston Medical Center – Brighton Boston Medical Center – Brighton, a member of the Boston Medical Center Health System, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist with expertise in heart failure and advanced echocardiographyto join our growing cardiovascular services program. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys combining outpatient and inpatient heart failure management with a strong focus on echocardiography. Position Highlights Focus on Advanced failure management and echocardiography Mix of inpatient consultative cardiology/heart failure care and outpatient cardiology clinics Interpretation and performance of transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography Participation in development and growth of heart failure services at BMC–Brighton Participation in satellite advanced heart failure clinics Participate in transplant cardiology rotation at New England Medical Center Collaborative, collegial cardiology team with access to advanced services within the BMC Health System Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students, as applicable Working at Boston Medical Center is more than a job. Requirements

  • MD or DO with completion of Cardiovascular Disease fellowship
  • Completion of subspecialty certification in Heart Failure
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Echocardiography
  • Board Certified of Eligible in Heart Failure
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and clinical excellence

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive cardiology and heart failure care to hospitalized and ambulatory patients
  • Perform and interpret echocardiographic studies, including TTE and TEE
  • Participate in inpatient cardiology consult service and heart failure management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, intensivists, primary care, and specialty services
  • Contribute to quality improvement, clinical pathway development, and program growth in heart failure and imaging
  • Participate in call rotation as part of the cardiology group
