About The Position

Chicago Cardiology Institute (CCI) was founded in 2009 with a commitment to providing exceptional cardiovascular care. The institute aims to treat each patient as a family member, making a meaningful difference in their lives. CCI is dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art cardiovascular care with compassion and empathy for both patients and their families. The facilities are equipped with advanced diagnostic technology, offering services such as CT scans, PET scans, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, sleep studies, and arrhythmia treatments. CCI has established the first outpatient vascular center in Illinois and has performed thousands of peripheral vascular interventions. The team is looking to expand cardiovascular and interventional services in the Greater-Chicago area and is seeking a patient-centered General Cardiologist with a focus on advanced imaging to work primarily in Schaumburg and Oak Park facilities.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Cardiovascular Medicine and Echocardiography.
• Completion of a US Accredited Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular program.
• Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Hardworking with a focus on patient satisfaction and quality.
• Collegial and teamwork-focused.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Imaging Fellowship training.
• Experience in structural imaging guidance for Mitral and Tricuspid valve procedures.
• Board Certified in Nuclear and Cardiac CT.
• Level 3 Echo and Level 2 CT certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time general cardiology services with a focus on imaging.
• Perform echocardiography, nuclear imaging, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and consultations.
• Participate in shared call responsibilities with other physicians.
• Engage in a collegial work environment with 14 other cardiologists and support staff.
• Contribute to the expansion of cardiovascular and interventional services.
