About The Position

This position is intended to assist students enrolled in anatomy and physiology by providing support in the anatomy and physiology open labs and/or instructor-conducted labs. Hours will vary according to open lab hours (afternoon/evenings) and/or instructor lab hours. Looking for student worker who is able to work at either the Main Campus or Akron location.

Requirements

• Applicant must be enrolled as a Stark State student
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Have successfully completed BIO121, BIO122 or BIO123 with a minimum of a B in the course(s)
• Be recommended for the position by a Stark State anatomy and physiology instructor.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the Biology Lab Technicians to assist students that visit the open labs.
• Master the anatomical terminology associated with the cadavers and other models.
• Assist in setting up and cleaning up the A&P lab and the process of signing students in and out.
