About The Position

The Non-Emergency Transport Technician (NET Tech) is responsible for rendering first aid if necessary and providing Basic Life Support until proper medical support arrives. This individual transports non-emergency patients of all ages who require stretcher or wheelchair transportation, ensuring their safe and comfortable journey to their destination.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institute
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification
  • Recognized Basic First Aid Certification
  • Valid Georgia driver's license - Class C

Responsibilities

  • Render first aid if necessary
  • Provide Basic Life Support until proper support arrives
  • Transport non-emergency patients of all ages who require stretcher or wheelchair transportation
  • Ensure safe and comfortable transportation of patients to destination
