About The Position

TTL, a steadily growing engineering design firm – now more than 500 employees strong – is hiring non-destructive testing (NDT) technicians to join in Tennessee and Mississippi. From visual inspections of structural welds to structural steel and coating inspections, you’ll make sure these jobs are done right. We expect you to be compassionate but firm as you prepare daily reports and information for clients while maintaining that proper procedures, accurate computations, and cordial relationships are kept. Requirements

• At least a high school diploma or equivalent
• Read drawings, plans, and blueprints, preferred
• Professionally communicate orally and in writing
• Basic computer skills with related technology
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Operate aerial lifts and work at heights
• Work outdoors

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of structural welds
• Perform structural steel and coating inspections
• Prepare daily reports and information for clients
• Ensure proper procedures and accurate computations are maintained
• Maintain cordial relationships with clients
