Job Title: Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspector, level 2 Reporting To: Manager, Mfg. Engrg. Work Schedule: Onsite – Torrance, CA Moog Aircraft Group, Torrance Operations is looking for a level 2 Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspector to perform Magnetic Particle and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection. Reporting to the Fabrication Quality Manager, this on-site position is based in Torrance, CA (Los Angeles area). The level 2 NDT Inspector will perform Magnetic Particle and Penetrant Inspection on all Moog hardware including gears, aluminum housings, actuator bodies, manifolds, assemblies, pistons and bushings in accordance with Moog Engineering Procedures (EP’s), Military Specifications, Customer specifications and operation sheet instructions. The level 2 NDT Inspector will be responsible for the process, detection of indications, acceptance of parts, and verification of cleanliness before and after inspection.
