About The Position

The position involves Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) of structural aircraft components made from graphite/carbon fiber composite materials. The primary focus is to verify the internal structural integrity of these components utilizing Ultrasonic Testing processes and equipment. The work includes equipment setup, operation, adjustment, and evaluation/interpretation of test readings/results within established parameters to determine acceptance or rejection of the components.

Requirements

• Experience in Nondestructive Inspection (NDI).
• Proficiency in Ultrasonic Testing methods.
• Knowledge of structural integrity assessment for composite materials.
• Ability to interpret technical data and test results.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Nondestructive Testing (NDT).
• Familiarity with aircraft component specifications.
• Experience with graphite/carbon fiber composite materials.
