About The Position

Staffmark has an exciting opportunity that you won't want to miss! We've partnered with a leading company in Santa Ana, CA to hire a Non Destructive Test Technician. Position Summary We're looking for a skilled Certified NDT Technician to perform testing and inspection of parts and assemblies using manual and automated methods such as radiography, ultrasound, penetrant, eddy current, magnetic particle, and laser shearography. This role ensures product integrity and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of inspection or NDT-related experience.
  • Certification: Must meet NAS 410 Level II qualifications in one or more of the following: Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
  • Documentation: Proof of certification and on-the-job hours required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable working with hazardous materials and in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass standard vision and color differentiation tests.
  • U.S. Person status required (citizen or permanent resident) per ITAR regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with additional NDT methods (radiography, ultrasound, eddy current, laser shearography).
  • Prior experience in aerospace or industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and quality excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Perform NDT inspections and evaluations to determine part acceptance or rejection in accordance with written procedures.
  • Conduct examinations on materials used in fabrication during receipt and in-process inspections.
  • Maintain calibration and readiness of inspection and measuring equipment.
  • Assist production teams with material or component setups as needed.
  • Train or mentor junior technicians when assigned.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
  • Follow all company safety policies and quality procedures.
