About The Position

As a Non-Destructive Test Technician - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) on materials, components, and assemblies to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. You will utilize various NDT methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant testing to detect defects and inconsistencies. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our products. In this role, you will impact the quality and safety of our products by identifying and addressing defects early in the manufacturing process. Your expertise in NDT methods will help prevent failures and ensure compliance with industry standards, ultimately contributing to the overall success and reputation of Honeywell.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in non-destructive testing.
  • Certification in at least one NDT method (e.g., UT, RT, MT, PT).
  • NDT certification-NAS 410 compliant
  • U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nondestructive testing on materials and components using various techniques such as ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, and visual inspection.
  • Interpret and analyze test results to identify defects, abnormalities, or other indications of potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications during the testing process.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results, including documentation of any defects or abnormalities found.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide recommendations for corrective actions or further testing as needed.
  • Stay updated with advancements in nondestructive testing methods and equipment, and provide recommendations for improvement.
