About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking a Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Specialist to join its Quality Team within Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) in Orangeburg, South Carolina. This role involves performing specialized non-destructive tests, documenting procedures, analyzing data for product conformity, assisting with corrective actions, and reporting test results and potential issues. The position is 100% onsite and requires the candidate to be a 'US Person' for Export Control compliance.

Requirements

• Hold a current NDT Level II certification
• Must be capable of working in confined spaces and fit through a 10” x 18” opening
• Meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years combination of education and experience
• Certification in Radiation Testing RT X-Ray
• Certification in Eddy Current Testing
• Certification in Radiographic Testing
• 1+ year of experience handling and working with radioactive materials and x-ray systems

Responsibilities

• Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment to controlled standards.
• Assists in the documentation of procedures for setting up test equipment.
• Analyzes routine test, inspection or statistical data to determine product and processes conformity.
• Assists with standard corrective action recommendations.
• Documents and communicates standard test, analysis or measurement results.
• Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.
