You will report directly to our Quality Engineer Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Greer, SC location with an Onsite work schedule for 4th Shift - 6am to 6pm Fri thru Sunday and 5th Shift - 6pm to 6am Fri thru Sunday. In this role, The NDT Level 2 Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of aerospace components by conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in accordance with NAS 410 standard and company procedures. The inspector will specialize in at least two of the following testing methods: Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT). This role plays a critical part in supporting production and overall quality assurance efforts within the organization. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) using various methods to assess the integrity of materials and components. Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports to communicate findings and recommendations. Collaborate with engineering teams to define testing requirements and specifications. Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections using RT, UT, PT, and MT methods, as required. Interpret and evaluate test results to determine compliance with specifications and standards. Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records. Assist in developing and refining NDT processes and protocols. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality personnel to address any non-conformances. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment. Maintain NDT equipment and tools, ensuring they are calibrated and in optimal condition. Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
