Utah Valley University is seeking qualified individuals to fill the role of Non-Credit Instructor for the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program at our Thanksgiving Point campus. This part-time, variable-hour position is designed for those who are passionate about teaching and have a strong background in EMS. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in EMS courses, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive education that prepares them for their roles in emergency medical services. In this role, instructors will teach assigned sections of EMS courses, preparing instructional materials as necessary to enhance the learning experience. The instructor will manage and supervise individuals and groups in both classroom settings and EMS learning labs, utilizing appropriate teaching methods to engage students effectively. Evaluation of instruction and learning will be a critical component of the role, with instructors expected to employ suitable testing methods to assess student performance. Maintaining a student-oriented approach to education is essential, as is the responsibility for accurate reporting and record-keeping related to student accountability, attendance, and performance.
