About The Position

Join a Dynamic Team: Impoving the rejected material process at BAE Systems We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Planner and Coordinator to manage the movement of non-conforming material within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, and coordinating the efficient movement of material from production, while ensuring compliance to procedures and documentation requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 2 years work experience or equivalent materials experience

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Oracle planning and management software, primarily inventory management software.
Certifications are a plus and a willingness to continue training on materials planning as well as continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate material movement with purchasing, quality, and production teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless material flow and minimize production delays
Track the timing of processing the material to the closure of the non-confrormance record
Work with the quality engineers on the team to improve the process efficiency
