Non-Certified Scrub Technician, Variable Part Time Night Shift, Labor & Delivery
About The Position
White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire a Non-Certified Scrub Technician to work in the Labor & Delivery department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Non-Certified Scrub Technician, you will: • Assists the Surgical Team in providing a safe, appropriate, and culturally aware patient care • Help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies • Prepare the Operation Room with all the necessary supplies • Properly sterilize required instruments and supplies • Serve as surgical assistant as needed • Assist in order and restocking Operating Room supplies and instruments
Requirements
- High school or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program and certified eligible
- 1 year hospital Operating Room experience preferred
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year hospital Operating Room experience preferred
