A Day in the Life of a Non-Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist-MLS/MT This role supports patient care by performing specimen collection, analytical testing, and accurate result reporting in a hospital laboratory. Work is completed under the supervision of certified laboratory professionals while following established procedures and regulatory standards. The environment is fast-paced and requires strong attention to detail, quality control, and instrument maintenance. Daily collaboration occurs with nurses, providers, and laboratory leadership to communicate results and address patient needs. Responsibilities span multiple laboratory disciplines, requiring adaptability, organization, and a commitment to continuous learning. Requirements

Working knowledge of standard laboratory principles, instrumentation, and procedures required
Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical, or medical laboratory science (International candidates must provide a foreign degree equivalency certificate)
A copy of the highest diploma or transcript of degree obtained
