NON-CDL Yard Jockey
About The Position
A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Non-CDL Yard Jockey in Streetsboro, OH. This role requires moving trailers around the terminal to various locations and maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions as needed. Why Pyle? Requirements
- Previous Jockey or Switcher experience required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to follow safety rules and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance
Responsibilities
- Moving trailers around the terminal to various locations
- Maneuvering the truck into loading and or unloading positions
- Visually inspecting trailers and or trucks before and after moving
- Connecting tractors to trailers
- Assisting with the unloading and loading of freight as needed
- Maintaining documentation of each trailer moved throughout the assigned shift
- Maintaining a flexible schedule
