About The Position
Murrey's Disposal, a Waste Connections company, seeks a dedicated and safety-conscious Local Mini Truck Driver to join our team in Fife, WA. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position where you'll frequently get in and out of your truck, perform commercial lifting, and work diligently to serve our customers. Requirements
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Safety Sensitive: YES
Responsibilities
- Operate a mini rear-load garbage truck along designated routes to collect solid waste safely.
- Read and follow route sheets, providing service to each customer as assigned by the dispatcher.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as loading and unloading, often without assistance.
- Interact courteously with customers and complete additional job-related tasks as needed.
