Imperial Dade has a Non-CDL Delivery Driver role available in City of Industry, CA! Join a strong and continuously evolving group, helping to continue to grow our business. If you’re eager for your next opportunity, Imperial Dade is a great place to take that next step. As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to stops per day. You will need to unload the merchandise using a hand, a pallet jack, and a dolly, and deliver it to the customer's preferred location. Providing exceptional customer service is a crucial aspect of this role. Shifts Available: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 5:00am-3:30pm or until route is completed Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 5:00am-3:30pm or until route is completed Monday-Thursday 4:00am-2:30pm or until route is completed Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 4:00am-2:30pm or until route is completed Pay Rate: $21/hour plus overtime
Requirements
- A good driving record
- 1 year of route delivery experience
- 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
- Lift gate experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
- Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 24’ box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW
- Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
- Properly track and document the activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect the truck before and after the trip
- Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude
