About The Position

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a safety-focused, dependable individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. This role is responsible for supporting infrastructure maintenance operations, including roadside herbicide application, traffic control, and shadow/crash truck (TMA) operations.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 5 years of clean driving history.
Proficient in GPS navigation and route planning.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse customer base.
Ability to lift and carry up to 60+ pounds.
Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.

Nice To Haves

Experience driving manual transmission vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; identify and report any issues and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicles and equipment.
Safely transport materials and equipment required for daily operations, including loading, unloading, and mixing.
Perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials up to 60 pounds.
Accurately complete and maintain driver logs, inspection reports, and required documentation.
Ensure compliance with all DOT and DMV regulations, including proper handling and placarding of hazardous materials.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
Participate in cross-training initiatives and support team members across various job functions when required.
