Position Description: Operate equipment in a safe manner and follow all manufacturers guidelines. Participate in monthly safety training. Maintain required licenses, endorsements, certifications, and medical documentation in accordance with state or federal regulations. Accurately maintain driver logs and pre trip inspections. Adhere to all hours of service and DOT regulations. Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting hazardous materials. Correct or report any safety violations or deficiencies. Attend daily shift meetings and participate in group functions. Assist with various warehouse tasks when delivery volume allows. Work as a team to accomplish all end of the day tasks. Check load related documentations to ensure loads are complete and accurate. Deliver product according to the customers directions. Provide customers with POD paperwork, and obtain signatures for all delivered products Run each route in the most efficient way possible based on assigned stops and customers delivery windows. Perform other related duties as assigned+
Requirements
- Medical Card required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Able to operate warehouse machinery
- Continually pass a DOT drug test and physical.
- Valid Driver's License
