About The Position
The position involves performing daily checklists on vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. The driver will report any vehicle defects or damage and maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service and repair status, adhering to state and federal regulations. Responsibilities also include obtaining receipts or signatures upon delivery, collecting payments when required, and ensuring that all load-related documentation is complete and accurate.
