About The Position

The Full-Service Delivery Merchandiser Non CDL is a touch freight position responsible for delivering and/or merchandising our products to customer locations on designated routes. The Full-Service Delivery Merchandiser duties include delivering and merchandising our products to all assigned vending equipment in their territory. Your day will involve following all Full-Service processes, servicing all scheduled vending machines, assuring proper brand maintenance, utilizing handheld computers for sales generation, and fostering relationships with account personnel to provide superior customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license
  • DOT Certification required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
  • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively in fast-paced environment
  • Less than high school education; or up to 6 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to operate a manual or motorized pallet jack
  • Ability to respond and resolve to any customer issues
  • Ability to self-motivate and perform job duties with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Service all scheduled vending machines on their daily assigned route to Company standards
  • Assure that each vendor is maintained with proper brands, maximizing productivity for space to sales ratio
  • Utilize handheld computer to generate accurate sales of each machine and record all money collected
  • Accurate accounting for all daily money, cases, consignment, and unit transactions
  • Foster relationships with account personnel and provide superior customer service to all accounts serviced
  • Ensure neat, clean appearance of all Coca Cola Vending and brand partner’s equipment and product in assigned accounts
  • Execute all merchandising standards on all machines
  • Maintain the coin mech/change dispenser at every fill, adjust and clean mechanism to ensure proper working as needed
  • Assist in soliciting new accounts and vendor locations to grow route
  • Notify Full-Service Management of mechanical problems or change in account status
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with customer base across assigned customers
  • Return all out-of-date products to plant for processing
  • Complete end of day settlement and paperwork
  • Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
