About The Position

The Non-CDL Driver for Heritage Pool is responsible for operating a vehicle for transporting goods, products, or materials to various destinations without the need for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). This position requires daily local travel and involves regular physical activity including lifting, loading and unloading goods and long hours of driving. The goal of SRS is to form the strongest national network of independent roofing and building product distributors with the most talented team of people working together to deliver the industry's best products and services. Requirements

  • Physically fit and able to frequently lift up to 50lbs.
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with using navigation systems.
  • Proficiency in English required for communication regarding safety.
  • Able to pass a background, driving and drug screen.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant driving experience.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate a non-CDL vehicle ensuring all products, goods, or materials are transported to their destinations.
  • Perform pre and post vehicle inspections and report any discrepancies.
  • Load and unload vehicle as required.
  • Follow delivery schedule and communicate any delays or issues promptly.
  • Provide excellent customer service during the delivery and pick-up operations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of all transport and vehicle maintenance.
