CDL/Non CDL Delivery Driver
About The Position
Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has Non-CDL Delivery Driver position in Loma Linda, CA! Join a strong and continuously evolving transportation group, helping to continue to grow our business. Imperial Dade is a great place to take that next step if you're eager to find your next opportunity. The Non-CDL Delivery Driver makes stops per day on a local route while safely operating a box truck. The driver will utilize a pallet jack, dolly, and lift gate to offload and transport the merchandise to the customers. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 5:00 am until the daily route is complete. Salary: $21.43/hour
Requirements
- A valid Class C driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
- A good driving record
- 1 year of lift gate experience
- 1 year of recent Delivery Driver experience
- 1 year of recent Non-CDL experience
- Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
- Strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Electric Pallet Jack experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or trailer
- Load and unload cargo
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect the truck before and after each trip
