About The Position

The Non CDL Driver is a delivery position responsible for driving a company vehicle limited to a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 25900. The position will be assigned stops to deliver foodservice products with a high level of service to customers. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required
DOT medical card/certification required
Must be able to pass DOT physical and pass pre-employment testing (including items such as Drug Screen & Background Check)
No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years
No commercial or professional driving experience required
Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations
Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

Nice To Haves

One year of multi-stop delivery experience
Six months local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience
Hand cart delivery experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Responsibilities

Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
