Become a part of the “strength within.” Hexcel is currently seeking a Non CDL Driver/Material Packaging for our Amesbury, MA location. Pay Range: $21.50 - $26.50 per hour The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, required.
Previous experience in driving a box truck preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to delivery schedules
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry heavy items as needed.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods of time.
Must have good attention to detail.
Fork Lift experience preferred
Ability to pass a DOT physical
This position is restricted to U.S. citizens due to U.S. federal government contracts that require the employment of only persons who are U.S. citizens.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in driving a box truck preferred.
Fork Lift experience preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver items to and from various locations.
Safely load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are secure during transport.
Verify recipient details upon delivery and obtain signatures for proof of delivery as well as maintain delivery logs and records.
Inspect the delivery vehicle for mechanical issues and ensure it is clean and safe for operation.
Address any issues or complaints that arise during the delivery process, such as damaged goods or delays
Responsible for storing incoming goods, releasing goods from storage, and loading goods for transport.
Performs common Warehouse tasks, cleaning, safety checks on equipment, etc.
Stage material appropriately in preparation of loading and shipping for final delivery and maintain the stock levels of packaging materials.
Active participation in cycle counting and physical inventory processes.
Conduct duties in a manner that promotes safety and complies with all OSHA standards.
Final packaging and labeling of finished products ready to ship.
