About The Position

Bio Fab Technologies (“Bio Fab” or the “Company”), headquartered in Pleasant Prairie, WI (on the WI/IL border), is a premier designer and manufacturer of high-end customized stainless-steel equipment and components for use in the pharmaceutical, food & beverage and industrial markets. Founded in 2006, Bio Fab was subsequently acquired by Holland Group, a private family-owned group of companies, in 2023. As we continue to grow, the Company is seeking a motivated individual to fill a hybrid position as a Non-CDL Box Truck Driver/Sheet Metal Shop Helper. This role involves part-time driving of a pickup truck and/or 24' Box Truck, as well as assisting with various entry-level cleaning and fabrication tasks in our shop when deliveries are not required. The ideal candidate will have a clean MVA driving record and previous experience driving small/mid-size box trucks. Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience operating pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
  • A dependable team player with strong attention to detail
  • Previous driving experience with small to mid-size box trucks
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Strong work ethics and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Commercial driving experience
  • Familiarity with using GPS devices for navigation
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending/stooping, crawling, balancing, crouching, and carrying.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.

Responsibilities

  • Operating a pickup truck, van or 24' box truck to transport materials and equipment to and from the shop.
  • Maintain a clean and safe shop, warehouse, employees break area, and facility by sweeping floors, emptying trash, and keeping all areas free of debris
  • Support technicians and warehouse staff with general tasks including loading/dumping forklift hoppers, cleaning equipment, and assisting as needed
  • Operate a forklift (with certification) and pick up local parts using a company vehicle
  • Perform physical tasks, work indoors and outdoors, and manage a variety of responsibilities
  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and provide general assistance to customers and team members
  • Handle minor facility repairs like changing light bulbs and light painting
  • Performing entry-level fabrication tasks in the shop when deliveries are not required.
  • Enjoying a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment.
