About The Position

Highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to lead the expansion of our non-alcoholic beverage portfolio across new retail, food service, and specialty accounts. This role is focused on opening new doors and driving distribution of a full range of non-alcoholic drinks, including CSDs, functional beverages, bottled water, energy drinks, juices, and more—across a diverse range of outlets such as: Sandwich & bagel shops Gyms & fitness centers Tobacco & vape shops Sporting goods stores Athletic facilities Parks & recreational vendors Cafés, delis, and other grab-and-go locations You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and converting new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring consistent product availability and visibility. You will be tasked to determine opening a qualified account that will fall under our sales and revenue benchmarks. All accounts will undergo ROI process after 6 months. Proven track record of acquiring new business and meeting sales targets, excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Work in collaboration with sales, operations, distribution, and office departments.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect & Acquire New Accounts: Identify and call on potential new customers in the assigned territory to sell in beverage lines and secure initial product placement.
  • Sell-In Distribution: Present and negotiate product listings, pricing, and promotional opportunities tailored to each account type.
  • New cooler placements
  • Cold Drink equipment shall be identified exclusively by trademarks, decals, and other artwork authorized by Long Beverage
  • Account must average minimum of 364 – 288 ounces of case sales annually
  • Account must have established brand/flavor sets with Long Beverage affiliated brands
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build long-term partnerships with independent store owners, managers, and buyers through regular follow-up and service.
  • Territory Development: Strategically plan and execute a route/territory growth plan targeting underdeveloped or high-potential channels.
  • Product Knowledge & Education: Communicate product benefits, brand stories, and category trends to customers to support sell-in.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Execution: Ensure products are properly stocked, merchandised, and visible in accounts; it will involve merchandising or POS placement.
  • Reporting & Tracking: Maintain accurate records of calls, placements, and sales performance using Encompass sales tracking systems.
  • Administration: Responsible for inputting new account information, sales and distribution recaps, and cooler data into Encompass.
  • New account set up – work process to establish account within Long Beverage system
  • Email, Text, or phone communication with accounts to set appointments and follow up calls
  • Sales sheets and understanding of retailer economics
  • Proper inventory of cooler assets – Checking in and out of inventory
  • Assist Non-Alcoholic Department with sales, forecasting, inventory, repair, and delivery
