We are seeking a junior Node.js and Database Developer to design, build, and enhance solutions in Norfolk, VA for US Navy customer. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation, hands-on experience delivering business applications, and basic business analysis skills to work closely with stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable, user-friendly solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience coding in Node.js
• Experience designing, building, and troubleshooting database structures used by web applications

Responsibilities

• Design and develop system architectures, including hardware, software, and network components, to meet specific requirements and ensure system integration
• Create and manage system models to enhance understanding, communication, and integration of complex systems
• Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality
• Research deployment methods in a littoral environment against operational requirements
• Document system specific modularity and interoperability between systems platforms
