About The Position

AdventHealth Medical Group Critical Care at Central Florida is seeking a dedicated physician to join our expanding critical care team. This Nocturnist position provides overnight coverage across our Medical, Surgical, and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Units at the AdventHealth Orlando campus. Nocturnist opportunity providing night coverage across Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, and Cardiovascular ICU. Full -time schedule consists of 12 shifts per month. Collaborate with experienced Intensivists, Surgeons, and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality critical care in a quaternary care center. Multiple critical physicians on night shift present. Night coverage of code blue responses in parts of the hospital. Teaching responsibilities with Critical Care Fellows, Pulmonary Critical Care Fellows, and Internal Medicine Residents. Robust GME and ACGME-accredited programs on site. Patient mix includes medical, surgical, and cardiovascular critically ill patients. The group extends throughout Central and West Florida with dedicated teams across 15+ campuses. The group also provides tele-ICU care to AdventHealth hospitals in Florida and across multiple states. Requirements for position: Critical Care fellowship training. Surgical, Medical, Anesthesia, and Emergency medicine background are welcomed to apply. Physician must be board certified/eligible in the subspecialty of Critical Care Medicine.
