Nocturnist Job Near Decatur, AL
About The Position
Nocturnist needed for well-established Hospitalist program. Group will consider IM or FP trained physician. Work schedule consists of 7 nights on w/7 nights off; from 6p-6a; flexible schedule can be arranged if multiple weeks off are needed. Average admits per night range from 5-11. Single coverage at night w/a midlevel provider to help w/patient care. Procedures not required and full subspecialty backup is available. Open ICU (they do have dictation) and no coding required unless own patient. Compensation includes generous salary, incentives, relocation, vacation/CME, benefits, malpractice, retirement & may include sign-on bonus. Servicing over 300K residents, hospital offers 24 hour ER, behavioral health, medical/surgical unit, cardiovascular services & women’s health.
