The Lewis Katz School of Medicine is seeking a BC/BE internist to join the Department of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery in the role of nighttime hospitalist . Although an ideal opportunity for Internists looking to pursue thoracic medicine specialization in the near future, this interest and/or additional training is neither required nor expected. The position will be fully supported by an in-house critical care attending and fellow, who will be readily available for consultation as needed. The successful candidate will provide inpatient service, including weekend coverage, from 7 pm to 7 am for a minimum of 23 weeks per year. They will serve as the attending physician, managing admissions and supervising our phenomenal team of advance providers on the uncovered unit and floor service for the Department of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery.
